If you follow my page on Facebook then you may already be aware of the news that I have decided to switch gears slightly and direct my blog in a new, exciting and different direction. I feel that I have fulfilled my initial purpose of my blog, which was to give some insight to life and teaching in Korea. There is now a wealth of information on the two, including daily vlogs that contribute to having a much more personal experience. I still plan on occasionally blogging about my life in Korea and travel because I currently still live here but my main focus has changed due to my re-commitment to myself.
My audience....
My emphasis is on women who, despite their past, are passionate about improving the quality of their lives and aspire to be the best version of themselves and live an intentional life.
My mission.....
I hope for this serve as a platform where young women can openly communicate about struggles they face that interfere with living a balanced life; whether it be rooted in self-esteem issues, cultural or traditional, spiritual, familial, and/or environmental. My aim is to hopefully provide alternative perspectives and suggestions on how to overcome some of these stumbling blocks.
Where I draw inspiration...

Where I draw inspiration...
- I have witnessed enough successful and unsuccessful marriages to know the difference....
- I have a past of abuse that led me to suffer with low self esteem and battle depression....
- I have settled in relationships because I didn't understand and know my true value....
- I desire a family of my own someday....
- I empathize with other women who struggle alone....
- I have decided my past and circumstances don't have to determine my future....
- I have chosen to include TMH in my process of healing and restoration....
Some of us....
suffer from so many scars that are never identified, explored, and healed. Perhaps we grew up with an absent father or had one present but not active in our lives. Maybe we've gone through life never feeling good enough or beautiful or come from a past of abuse and often times prayed but felt forgotten and unloved. And now we've grown to be women with identity issues, low self-esteem, in and out of unhealthy relationships, looking for validation and finding temporary fulfillment in things of no substance. Are you coasting through life with no sense of self, lost and desperately looking for yourself?
A choice to make.....
At some point, you have to take ownership of your life. You have to decide what kind of life you want and how much you're willing to invest in yourself to live it. We can't change our past but we can use it to motivate us into creating a better future. Below are the first three steps I find important in starting that process.
You are worth it. You are full of potential, created with destiny and purpose.
I am far from perfect and still fight challenging internal battles sometimes, some tougher than previous but I'm now comforted in knowing that I no longer have to fight them in the dark and alone because my story is also my healing.
